What is RSS?
RSS let you keep in touch with KCLD easily! You can subscribe to our blogs and have them delivered to your email when when new posts are made or you can subscribe through your web broswer which will update automatcially with new posts!
Plus, if you have your own website, you can parse our feed into your site to deliver fresh and witty (sometimes) content to your visitors!
To Subscribe via Email:
For Microsoft Outlook 2007:
Go to File > Folders > Add A New RSS Feed
In the dialog box, paste the URL of the KCLD Feed you would like to subscribe to via email.
The URL for the Playhouse Blog will look like this: http://www.1047kcld.com/includes/blog/7/feed.rss
When you're done, the feed will show up in your list of folders in your email, and you'll be able to read new posts just like you would an email! Pretty cool, huh?
For Mozilla Thunderbird
Go to File > New > Account
In the Dialog Box, choose RSS News & Blogs, then click Next
Give the account a name, like "KCLD Feeds"
In your list of accounts, click on the new KCLD Feeds account you just created.
Click on Manage Subscriptions > Click on the Add Button
In the dialog box, paste the URL of the feed you with to subscribe to. For example, The Playhouse Blog URL is this http://www.1047kcld.com/includes/blog/7/feed.rss
Make sure to check the box for "Show article summary instead of loading the web page"
When you're done, the feed will show up in your list of folders in your email, and you'll be able to read new posts just like you would an email! Pretty cool, huh?
To Subsribe via Web Browsers:
For Internet Explorer 7.0+
When you visit the URL of the feed you would like to subscribe to, such as the Playhouse Blog (http://www.1047kcld.com/includes/blog/7/feed.rss) you might be promted on the screen to turn on Automatic Feed Updates. Make sure you turn this on, otherwise your browser will not load new content automatically.
For Mozilla Firefox

When you visit the URL of the feed you would like to subscribe to, such as the Playhouse Blog (http://www.1047kcld.com/includes/blog/7/feed.rss) you will see a Subscribe Now button at the top of the page. Clicking this button will let you add the feed to Firefox's Live Bookmarks which will look for new posts auotmatically and update your bookmarks for you.
